Here at Ethical Dog we help to train tasks and also focus on our dogs ability to feel relaxed and confident, walk slowly and calmly on a loose lead aswell as settle and relax for a nap in different environments, which are all essential skills for an assistance dog.

Every dog will be different in terms of their own needs, but our assistance dog programme is based on team work, we provide for their needs, and they in return help us to feel more safe and confident too, with their love, companionship and day to day tasks.

Our assistance dog programme is available both online and in person. It requires commitment to learning The Ethical Approach to caring for your dog, aswell as teaching your dog new skills.

Our branded uniform is available based on the hours committed aswell as progress. We dont use assessment or exam style to evaluate progress, but instead work on individual feedback and building dog and handler confidence over the long term within real life situations applicable to your lifestyle and routine.

Laws on owner training your own assistance dog or service dog will vary between countries, our programme doesn’t assess or accredit dogs, but does give you the skills needed to train your dog to help you both at home and out and about.
